Platform rescue launching appliance is a special lifesaving appliance installed on offshore drilling unit, matched with boat winch for escaping and lifesaving on offshore. Design and manufacturing of this platform meet the requirements of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at sea, 1974 (Abbreviated SOLAS) and its 1983-1992 Amendments as well as IMO Code for the Construction and Equipment of Mobile Offshore Drilling Units, 2009(Abbreviated MODU).
