New Journey Sets Sail for Talent Cultivation
On June 26, 2026, HARVESTEC TRAINING CENTER under LJSAFE Group was grandly inaugurated. Drawing on the Group’s 55‑year‑long industrial accumulation in the maritime safety sector, it enters the maritime‑safety vocational education track. By building industry‑university‑research cooperation platforms with multiple universities, it realizes two‑way synergy between industrial manufacturing and vocational talent cultivation, further improving the Group’s full‑industrial‑chain ecological layout. The HARVESTEC TRAINING CENTER training base is located in Hai’an, Jiangsu. It is a benchmark platform for skill training on marine fire‑fighting and life‑saving equipment maintenance in China, and also the country’s first maritime vocational education institution accredited with both ABS ISO9001 quality‑system certification and CMET course certification.
The base provides customized fire‑fighting and life‑saving safety training for individual seafarers, shipping and ship‑owning entities. It innovatively establishes carbon‑dioxide and water‑based fire‑extinguishing laboratories, equipped with a complete range of practical training facilities for marine fire‑fighting and life‑saving equipment. Adhering to the teaching principle of “real‑scene oriented, practical‑oriented and combat‑oriented”, it carries out immersive practical‑scenario training to comprehensively enhance practitioners’ professional competence. Going forward, the base will continue to deepen industry‑university‑research cooperation, optimize teaching systems and upgrade training facilities, cultivate talents urgently needed for maritime safety, and consolidate the talent foundation for the transformation and upgrading of the shipping industry and the high‑quality development of the marine economy.
On June 9, 2025, the inaugural expert exchange meeting of JUSTIE Intelligent Education was successfully held at the Mengxi Campus of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology. Mr. Steven Zhang , Chairman of LJSAFE Group, and Mr. Edward Gao , Executive Deputy General Manager, were invited to attend the meeting. The event brought together numerous industry experts from universities, classification societies and the marine & offshore sectors to deliberate on talent cultivation for the marine‑ship industry and the development directions for JUSTIE Intelligent Education.
Grounded in the realities of marine vocational education, participating experts conducted in‑depth discussions on specialty development, curriculum systems, talent‑cultivation models and industrial development pathways. A joint talent‑cultivation program for the marine‑ship industry was released at the meeting, and the “Marine‑Ship Industry Innovative Experimental Class” was launched. The exchange meeting built a collaborative communication platform for industry‑university‑research experts. Leveraging the full‑cycle talent‑cultivation system of JUSTIE Intelligent Education, it charted a clear pathway for nurturing outstanding marine‑ship engineers, delivering interdisciplinary professionals for building a maritime power.
